Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain a commercial truck to transport cargo to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement of goods.
• Plan and execute the most efficient and safe route for each trip, considering factors like traffic, weather, and delivery schedules.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure the truck is in good working condition.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of truck maintenance and basic repair skills.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy cargo.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and occasional overnight trips.
